Peer Coaching FAQ's

Why was I paired with someone from my peer group? 

Answer: 
It is common in the program for someone from your peer group to also be paired with you as a peer coach or client. While it may feel uncomfortable at first, this does not impact the structure of the exercises or your ability to fully participate in the coaching practice. 

When will I receive my peer coaching assignment? 

Answer: 
Round 1 peer assignments are sent three weeks after Module I
Round 2 peer assignments are sent three weeks after Module II

What do I do if my peer coach or client does not respond? 

Answer: 
If you are having difficulty connecting with your peer, please create a Student Support ticket. The team will attempt to contact them and help resolve the situation. 

Can I change my peer coaching partner? 

Answer: 
No. Peer coaching partners are not reassigned. 

In rare situations where a student withdraws from the program or takes a leave of absence, Student Support will assign a peer volunteer so you can complete your coaching requirements. 

How many peer sessions are required? 

Answer: 
You must complete: 

  • 12 Round 1 sessions as coach
  • 12 Round 1 sessions as client
  • 12 Round 2 sessions as coach
  • 12 Round 2 sessions as Client
  • 48 total coach / client sessions

Where do I submit my peer coaching logs? 

Answer: 
Peer coaching logs are submitted in the Student Hub: 

Round 1: 
Post Module I Resources and Assignments 

Round 2: 
Post Module II Resources and Assignments 

What happens if I miss a peer session? 

Answer: 
Simply reschedule the session with your peer
