Preparing for the Final Exam

The Final Exam is an exciting milestone in your journey to becoming a certified coach. Rest assured, everything you need to succeed will be provided to you as you progress through the program. Here are a few key things to know as you prepare:

Preparation Resources

  • A Final Exam Study Guide is available to support your preparation.
  • The Final Exam Webinar is an excellent resource to help you feel confident and ready.
You’ll find both resources in your Hub.

Choosing Your Final Exam Client

You are required to coach a currently enrolled iPEC student or Mentor Coach for your Final Exam. Here are your options:

  • Peer Client:

    • We recommend coaching a peer whom you have already coached for at least six sessions.
    • Familiarity with their coaching style will help you best demonstrate your abilities.
  • Mentor Coach:

    • Available upon request through iPEC.
    • A $50 fee is payable directly to the mentor coach for this service.

Regardless of your choice, the client must:

  • Be currently enrolled in the iPEC program (peer cohort or another student).
  • Agree to be coached on a real issue.
  • Commit to a session lasting a minimum of 20 minutes and a maximum of 30 minutes.

If you need assistance arranging a Mentor Coach, reach out to Student Support through the HubBot Chat.
