The book report is your opportunity to summarize key concepts from the Energy Leadership book and reflect on how they apply to you. Think of it as a structured yet personal way to engage with the material, translating its principles into meaningful insights for your growth. Your report should be written in paragraph format, allowing you to convey your thoughts clearly and cohesively.

 

How to Access Your Energy Leadership Ebook

Navigate to your "Post Module I Resources and Assignments" Course in your Hub, and find the "Energy Leadership" lesson. Click the link in the instructions. You will be taken to a landing page where you'll be prompted to create an account for Redshelf.  Once you create your Redshelf account, you will see your book available in your bookshelf. 

NOTE: You will be prompted to create a RedShelf account which you will use to access the book; this is not the same as your Hub login. You can access your book in the future by logging in at RedShelf.com and clicking "Login" in the upper right corner.

 

How Long Should My Book Report Be?

The length of the book report is up to you although a good rule of thumb is 2-4 pages in length. Include a thoughtful summary of the book's key concepts while reflecting on its impact and relevance to your personal and professional life. 

 

Tips for Crafting a Strong Report

  • Summarize Key Ideas: Highlight the core themes and principles presented in the book.
  • Reflect on Application: Consider how the concepts resonate with your experiences or how they might influence your coaching practice.
  • Engage with Guiding Questions: Use thought-provoking questions such as:
    • What are the major themes of the book?
    • What stood out to you as the most important takeaways?
    • How can the concepts be applied in your life or coaching practice?
    • What did you discover about yourself as you read the book?
    • Would you recommend this book to others, and why?
  • Stay Organized: Use clear paragraphs to structure your ideas, ensuring a logical flow from one section to the next.
