What Happens If You Don’t Complete Your Final Exam Within One Year of Module III?

If you have not completed your coursework and taken your Final Exam within one year of completing Module III, additional steps are required to ensure you’re ready to proceed. These measures are in place to support your success and ensure you’re up-to-date with iPEC’s curriculum.

Readiness Session Requirement

If you are more than one year post-Module III:

  • You will need to complete a Readiness Session with a mentor coach before taking your Final Exam.
  • The session ensures you are current with any curriculum updates and prepared to meet coaching standards.

Why is a Readiness Session Necessary?

iPEC is an accredited coach training program with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). To maintain alignment with ICF requirements and best practices, our curriculum is regularly updated. A Readiness Session ensures that:

  • You are aware of and understand any updates since you attended Module III.
  • You have the skills and confidence needed to excel in your Final Exam.
  • You are fully prepared if you plan to pursue an ACC, PCC, or MCC credential with the ICF.

What Happens During a Readiness Session?

The Readiness Session includes:

  • An assessment of your current coaching skills by a mentor coach.
  • Guidance on areas that may need further focus.
  • Additional resources and preparation options to help you succeed.

Cost and Timeline

  • The fee for a Readiness Session is $75, paid directly to the mentor coach.
  • To maximize your readiness, it is recommended that you submit your Final Exam within six months of completing the Readiness Session.
