What is the ARL?

1. What is the ARL?

The Average Resonating Level (ARL) is a composite metric that measures a client’s total energy, combining both:

  • Energetic Presentation (EP): How energy is showing up in everyday life.
  • Energetic Stress Reaction (ESR): How energy shifts under stress.

Key Insight: The ARL is not a direct reflection of a client’s primary energy level or a simple average of energy levels. EP and ESR are weighted differently in the ARL calculation.

2. What is the Purpose of the ARL?

The ARL serves as a measurable indicator of how a client’s energy levels correlate with their level of consciousness and life satisfaction.

Research Utility:
  • Tracks shifts in energy and consciousness throughout the Core Energy Coaching™ process.
  • Provides a quantifiable metric to evaluate growth over time.
  • Confidential Calculation: The ARL formula is proprietary to iPEC and not publicly disclosed.

3. How is the ARL Scaled?

  • Minimum ARL: 1.0 (theoretical, not observed in practice).
  • Maximum ARL: 7.0 (theoretical, as humans do not resonate solely at Level 7).
Typical Ranges:
  • General Population Average: 3.23–3.24.
  • Coaches’ Average: 3.53.

4. Why is the ARL Valuable?

Evidence of Growth:
  • The ARL allows clients to track their personal development over time.
  • Example: A client with an ARL of 3.01 in January sees growth if their ARL increases to 3.12 by October, indicating a shift toward more anabolic energy.
Insight into Energy Dynamics:
  • Highlights the differences between a client’s energy under normal circumstances (EP) and stress (ESR).
  • Reflects how energy interplay and consciousness evolve throughout the coaching journey.

5. How Should I Interpret the ARL?

The ARL reflects a holistic view of energy, not specific time spent in individual levels.

  • Context Matters: A higher ARL generally indicates increased consciousness and a more anabolic energy state.
  • Growth-Oriented: Small shifts in ARL signify meaningful progress in personal development and energy awareness.
